Over the past month, we had the pleasure of working on a very special project: the creation of a new ceremonial torch for Rendez-vous Acadie 50+.
The goal was to create an artistic piece that showcases the colours of l'Acadie and, of course, its star, while incorporating light and technology at the heart of the experience.
The torch features more than 200 individually programmable LED lights, allowing the different colours to gradually come to life throughout the ceremony.
A custom app was also developed to control the torch from a tablet. As the ceremonial speech unfolds, the blue lights up, followed by the white, the red, and finally the Acadian star, before transitioning into a final light animation.
A project that brings together art, light and technology, and once again allowed us to explore new ways of creating unique experiences.
