From Canvas to Large-Scale Experiences

For over a decade, my creative life revolved around abstract art. I painted, created, and sold thousands of pieces across Canada, the United States, and internationally. Art was my language, a way to explore emotion, movement, and energy.

Over time, that same creative drive began to pull me beyond the canvas.

What started as a personal artistic practice gradually evolved into something larger: immersive experiences, live performances, and storytelling through light, movement, and sound. That evolution eventually led to the creation of Les Productions FUSION.

In 2026, FUSION will mark 15 years since its beginnings. This upcoming season will also bring us to our 42nd large-scale event, presented across multiple cities and built through years of growth, reinvention, and resilience, including the period impacted by the COVID shutdown.

From the very beginning, creativity and entrepreneurship have gone hand in hand in my work. Building ambitious artistic projects requires more than ideas; it requires structure, leadership, financial discipline, and the ability to bring people together around a shared vision. That balance between art and business is what has allowed FUSION to grow, adapt, and sustain itself over time.

Today, my role is as much about creative direction as it is about building strong teams, partnerships, and systems that allow creativity to thrive. Through FUSION, I work alongside an incredible core team and collaborate with dancers, singers, acrobats, musicians, designers, technicians, and partners who help turn ideas into fully realized experiences. These events simply would not exist without their talent, commitment, and trust.

While I no longer paint, the artist has never left. The medium has simply changed. The same instincts that once guided my work on canvas now guide how we design experiences, structure productions, and lead creative teams. Composition, rhythm, contrast, and emotion still matter, just on a different scale.

FUSION events are proudly local, community-driven, and built around collaboration. Each project is an opportunity to create meaningful moments for audiences, offer platforms for local artists, and generate positive cultural and economic impact.

This page, and this chapter, reflect that evolution.

Art didn’t disappear.
It expanded.
