Halifax Auditions Now Open for KIRIO 2026
The FUSION team is returning to Halifax with KIRIO, its newest large-scale immersive production, coming to the Light House Arts Centre on September 25 & 26, 2026.
After more than 35 large-scale productions and thousands of spectators across the Maritimes, FUSION continues to bring together over 75 local artists in a unique immersive experience.
We are looking for passionate dancers to join this exciting new production.
AUDITION DETAILS
Date: Friday July 3rd at 5pm
Location: Arthur Murray Dance Studio (59 McQuade Lake Crescent in Bayers Lake)

Age Requirement: 10 years old and up
Cost: $20 per participant (includes choreography, studio rental, and instruction). Payment must be completed through our website after registration.
COMMITMENT
Selected dancers will be expected to:
- Attend rehearsals leading up to the performances
- Be available according to the rehearsal schedule provided
- Commit to participating in a large-scale production

VIDEO AUDITION (OPTIONAL)
If you are unable to attend in person, you may submit a video audition.
Requirements:
- Dance style of your choice
- Solo performance only (no groups)
- Recent video submissions accepted (recorded within the last 2 years)

In-person auditions are strongly recommended.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- Ability to learn choreography quickly
- Strong improvisation skills
- Strong stage presence (very important)
- Positive and professional attitude
WHAT TO BRING
- A short bio including a headshot on the same page (maximum 1 page)
- Appropriate dance attire
- Water bottle
